About Fire Photography
Taking Fire Photos is an exciting hobby. We monitor scanners on a daily basis for an active incident and try to arrive at the scene in a safe manner, Once on scene we attempt to get multiple photos of all angles of the building involved and also attempt to get photos of the apparatus and firefighters at work. Many times the photos are supplied to the Department for further investigation and training sessions...
I am also a member of the Providence Citywide Fire Network. we are a group of Fire Buffs that communicate an incident to all our members and listeners. We also assist the Providence Canteens, these are specialized trucks that bring food and refreshment to the scene for Firefighter Rehab.

About My Photos
My Photos are taken using Kodak and Canon Digital Cameras. All are taken on scene of an incident known as the Fire Ground. I try to arrive on scene as soon as possible. We monitor the Tiverton Radio Frequency as close to a 24 hour period as can be. 471.7875 is the Departments main Radio for dispatch and communications.
